Connects to a radio through a zTac PTT unit, which must match your radio’s connector (for example Kenwood/Baofeng, Motorola, Icom or Midland). Check that the PTT’s headset socket matches this headset’s plug. For helmet use, check the images and your helmet’s rails before buying any adapters.
Care and maintenance
Remove the AA batteries if you will not use the headset for a while, as old batteries can leak and damage the contacts. Wipe the ear cups and headband with a slightly damp cloth after use and let them dry fully before packing away.
Keep the plug and cable free of dirt and moisture, unplug by the connector rather than the cable, and store the headset where the boom and ear cups will not be crushed.
