Questions about M4/M16 Variant
Will any M4 magazine fit my rifle?
AEG M4s take standard M4 AEG magazines (low-cap, mid-cap or hi-cap). Gas blowback rifles need gas magazines made for that system, such as MWS or GHK types, so check the product page.
CQB or full length?
A CQB M4 (around 10 inch outer barrel) is quicker in buildings; a longer barrel gives a little more stability and is better at range outdoors. Either works for most sites.
What battery do I need?
Most M4 AEGs use a 7.4V LiPo with a mini or Deans connector, fitted in the stock or handguard. Browse LiPo batteries.
Do I need UKARA?
To buy a realistic imitation firearm (RIF) in the UK you need a valid defence, such as UKARA registration through your local site. Two-tone (brightly coloured) replicas only need you to be 18 or over.
