Questions about Assault Rifles

Which rifle is best for a beginner?
A full-size or CQB M4 AEG is the usual first choice: parts and magazines are easy to find and most guns can be upgraded later.
What power do UK sites allow?
Limits are set by each site, but full-auto rifles are commonly limited to around 350 FPS with 0.20g BBs. Always check your site's rules and get your gun chronographed on the day.
Do AEGs come with a battery?
Some do and the product title will say so (for example "Inc. Battery and Charger"). Otherwise you'll need a battery that fits the stock or handguard, and a suitable charger.
Do I need UKARA?
To buy a realistic imitation firearm (RIF) in the UK you need a valid defence, such as UKARA registration through your local site. Two-tone (brightly coloured) replicas only need you to be 18 or over.
