Salvo Precision MCX Rattler LT 7.75″ GBBR – Black
The Salvo Precision MCX Rattler LT 7.75″ is a black gas blowback rifle (GBBR) styled on the compact MCX Rattler, a short-barrelled personal defence weapon designed for maximum firepower in the smallest practical package. With its 7.75″ M-LOK handguard and folding stock, it is ideal for close quarters and indoor games, where a full-length rifle can feel awkward in doorways and corridors.
Salvo Precision builds its rifles around the proven MWS ZET-style gas blowback system, and focuses on strong materials and refined internals. The result is a compact rifle that feels solid, cycles with a satisfying kick, and benefits from the wide range of MWS-compatible magazines and parts available.
Build and materials
The rifle is built with CNC-machined aluminium and steel-reinforced components, giving it a rigid, quality feel with very little flex or rattle. The 7.75″ M-LOK Gen 3 handguard has a monolithic Picatinny top rail that runs continuously with the receiver, so there is plenty of room for optics, and the M-LOK slots let you attach a grip, torch or laser where you need it.
The minimalist folding stock has a rubberised buttpad and a height-adjustable hinge, and it can fold to either side. Folded, the rifle becomes very compact for transport or for moving through tight spaces. An ambidextrous QD sling point makes it easy to attach a sling for either shoulder.
Performance and internals
Inside, a stainless steel short-stroke SCX bolt runs on a guided track with springs and rollers, designed for smooth, consistent cycling. Gas blowback means the bolt moves with every shot, giving realistic recoil and handling that makes it great for training drills and enjoyable to shoot.
The hop-up is adjustable through a dial, with the hop-up base integrated into the outer barrel. The inner barrel is 286mm long, which is generous for such a short rifle and helps with consistency.
Muzzle and customisation
The outer barrel is threaded 14mm counter-clockwise (CCW) and supports tapered 26mm thread-on muzzle devices. It is supplied with a three-prong Taper-Lok QD flash hider, and the 14mm CCW thread means you can fit a wide range of airsoft muzzle devices and tracer units.

Compatibility
The Rattler LT is compatible with Salvo Precision AR15/M4 GBB magazines, Double Eagle AR15/M4 GBB magazines and Tokyo Marui AR15/M4 MWS GBB magazines or similar. This gives you a wide choice of spare magazines.
Use green gas or top gas only, never lighter fluid or butane. The 14mm CCW muzzle thread takes standard airsoft muzzle devices and tracers, the M-LOK handguard takes M-LOK accessories, and the top rail takes Picatinny/20mm optics mounts.
Care and maintenance
Lubricate the bolt and moving parts lightly with a suitable gas blowback lubricant, following the manufacturer’s guidance, and keep the rifle clean, especially after dusty or muddy games. Use silicone oil on magazine seals and valves, store magazines with a small amount of gas, and do not overfill them.
Clean the inner barrel regularly and use good quality seamless BBs. Gas performance drops in cold weather, so keep magazines warm in cold conditions.
