Description
Madbull 60 Degree Hop Up Bucking (with X Type Spacing – 2pcs)
This is a two-pack of Madbull 60 degree hop-up buckings, listed with X type spacing. Madbull is a long-established name in airsoft internals, and its buckings are a popular choice for players and techs looking to improve range and consistency, or simply to replace a worn original.
The bucking is the rubber sleeve that sits on the inner barrel inside the hop-up unit. It seals against the air nozzle and, through the hop-up nub, puts backspin on the BB. Because it is a wearing part, a fresh bucking is one of the most cost-effective upgrades you can make, and having a spare in your kit means a torn or perished rubber does not end your day.
Hardness and performance
The 60 degree rating describes the hardness of the rubber. A 60 degree bucking is softer than the harder 70 to 90 degree types often used in high-powered builds, so it grips the BB more readily and gives a good seal with the nozzle. Softer buckings are generally chosen for standard and moderately upgraded AEGs, where they can deliver strong hop with less pressure from the nub. The X type spacing listed in the name relates to the spacer used with the bucking; check the product images to see the design.
Fitting it
Remove the inner barrel and hop-up unit, take off the old bucking and clean the barrel. Lightly lubricate the new bucking with silicone oil, fit it so the barrel window and the bucking lip line up correctly, then reassemble. Re-set your hop-up from zero and test with the BB weight you use.

Compatibility
Buckings of this type are generally made for AEG-style hop-up units and inner barrels. Fit depends on your hop-up unit, inner barrel and nub, so check your replica’s specification before ordering. Results vary between replicas and set-ups.
Care and maintenance
Keep the bucking and barrel clean, and use a little silicone oil only; avoid petroleum-based lubricants, which can damage rubber. Replace the bucking if it shows tears, pinholes or hardening, and whenever you replace your inner barrel. Use good-quality seamless BBs to protect the bucking.
