G&G AK PRK9 RTS AEG (Black – RTS – GRK-9MM-RTS-BNB-NCM)
The G&G PRK9 RTS (code GRK-9MM-RTS-BNB-NCM) is a black, AK-styled 9mm-look SMG fitted with a foldable stock. It sits between the stockless PRK9 and the long PRK9L: at around 565mm it is still very compact, but the stock gives you a proper shoulder position straight out of the box.
It uses the same tried and tested G&G gearbox and electronics as the rest of the PRK9 family, including a programmable gearbox. If you like the look of the PRK9 but want a ready-to-use stocked version for CQB and fast-moving games, this is the one to choose.
Build and handling
Built from metal and polymer, the PRK9 RTS feels solid without being heavy. The foldable stock means it packs down small for carrying and can be extended quickly for a stable hold, and the ergonomic grip keeps it comfortable through a full day of play.
Picatinny rail sections on the handguard and the top dust cover give you space for a red dot, torch or grip. A removable thread protector covers a 14mm counter-clockwise threaded barrel, so you can add a suppressor or tracer unit if you wish.
Performance and electronics
G&G’s programmable gearbox gives four settings: safe, semi-automatic, three-round burst and full-automatic. Burst fire suits fast room-clearing, while semi lets you take careful, well-placed shots.
The hop-up is adjustable, so you can match the rifle to the BB weight you prefer. The 40-round magazine supplied encourages accurate shooting and keeps the rifle within the rules at many CQB venues.
Getting started
Charge your battery on a proper charger and fit it following the manual. Load a magazine and test-fire at a safe backstop, starting with the hop-up off and bringing it up gradually until shots fly flat. A few minutes of zeroing at the range makes a big difference to your confidence on the field.
Practise magazine changes and battery swaps at home, and get the rifle chronographed at the site before your first game.

Compatibility
The PRK9 RTS takes G&G PRK9 magazines, so buy spares made for this model rather than standard AK magazines. The 14mm counter-clockwise (CCW) thread under the thread protector suits the common airsoft standard, so most 14mm CCW suppressors, tracer units and muzzle devices will fit. The Picatinny rail sections accept standard 20mm optics, lights and grips. Batteries and chargers are not listed in the box, so check the manual for the battery space and connector and choose a battery to match before your first game.
Care and maintenance
Unplug and remove the battery after use, store LiPos in a fire-safe bag, and charge them on a balance charger you are watching. Keep the inner barrel clean with a rod and patch, because a dirty barrel or hop-up rubber is the most common cause of poor grouping.
Use good quality, polished BBs and avoid reusing BBs picked up from the floor. Keep the rifle dry, check all external screws now and then, and leave internal servicing to someone who knows AEGs well.
Who is it for?
The PRK9 RTS is aimed at CQB and close-woodland players who want a short, quick-handling rifle with a stock already fitted. It is also a good first G&G rifle for someone who wants something more distinctive than an M4 without giving up reliability or parts support.
