ACM EGLM SCR Series Grenade Launcher Module (STND – Black)
This ACM EGLM is a 40mm grenade launcher module styled on the Enhanced Grenade Launcher Module developed for the SCAR family of rifles. It is designed for SCAR-style (SCR series) airsoft rifles and fires 40mm airsoft gas grenade shells, giving your rifle a grenadier role. This is the Standard version, finished in black. A Deluxe version is also available in black and tan.
ACM supplies a wide range of affordable airsoft accessories, and its EGLM is a cost-effective way to recreate the distinctive SCAR grenadier set-up. The EGLM’s slab-sided body and side-opening breech give it a modern look that pairs naturally with SCAR-style rifles, and it is just as useful in game as it is for building a realistic milsim loadout.
How it works
The module has no gas tank or hop-up of its own. Power comes from a 40mm airsoft gas grenade shell, which holds both gas and a load of BBs. Charge the shell with gas, fill it with BBs, load it into the launcher and fire using the launcher’s own trigger. The shell discharges in one burst and throws a spread of BBs, ideal for clearing rooms, flushing players from cover and putting pressure on a position while your team moves. Build and handling
Mounted under the rifle, the launcher adds weight at the front, which many players find steadies the aim, and gives the support hand a solid place to grip. SCAR replicas differ between manufacturers in their lower rail and front-end dimensions, so please check your rifle’s model before ordering and contact us if you are unsure. Most standard 40mm airsoft gas shells can be used, but shell length and diameter vary between brands, so check fit before buying spares. Grenade shells are sold separately.
Care and maintenance
Keep the breech and hinge clean and free of grit, and apply a little silicone oil to moving parts from time to time. Fill shells only with airsoft gas, put a drop of silicone oil on the shell’s fill valve and seals regularly, and store shells with a small amount of gas inside to keep the seals supple. Never leave a loaded shell in the launcher after play, and check the mounting screws before each game.
