Description
Vigor 4.3 Spring Pistol (Extended Magazine – Blue – Polymer – 2112-A1)
The Vigor 4.3 (model 2112-A1) is a polymer spring-powered airsoft pistol in blue, styled on the compact 4.3 Hi-Capa layout and listed with an extended magazine. It is cocked by racking the slide before each shot, so it needs no gas or batteries and is ready to use whenever you are.
Vigor’s polymer spring pistols are light, simple and very affordable, which makes the 2112-A1 a good first pistol for target practice in the garden and for learning safe handling. The extended magazine, which protrudes below the grip, adds a purposeful competition-style look and gives you a little more to hold on to when reloading.
Build and design
The polymer construction keeps the pistol light and easy to hold, which suits younger or smaller-handed shooters at home practice sessions, and it will not corrode if it gets damp. The 4.3 layout is shorter than the 5.1 version, making the pistol compact and well balanced. The bright blue finish makes it easy to identify and keep track of, and it clearly marks the pistol out as a replica when it is being used for practice. Please check the product images to see the magazine and pistol supplied.
How it works
A spring pistol uses a spring and piston to push a column of air behind the BB. Racking the slide compresses the spring and readies the next BB; pulling the trigger releases the piston and fires. Because you cock it for every shot, it encourages a slow, deliberate style, which is good practice for sight alignment and trigger control.
Learning safe handling
A simple spring pistol is a good place to build safe habits: keep your finger off the trigger until you are on target, point the muzzle in a safe direction at all times and treat the pistol as loaded. When you finish, unload it and leave it uncocked. Carry it in a bag or case when travelling, and store it securely at home out of reach of young children.
Target practice at home
Spring pistols are ideal for garden or indoor target practice where it is safe to shoot. Set up a proper backstop, such as a BB trap or a box filled with old cloth, keep everyone behind the firing line wearing eye protection, and use paper targets so you can watch your groups tighten as your technique improves.
Key features
- Compact 4.3 Hi-Capa styling
- Extended magazine (as listed)
- Lightweight polymer construction
- Blue finish
- Spring powered: no gas or battery needed
- Very affordable to run
- Model 2112-A1
Compatibility
Uses standard 6mm airsoft BBs; light 0.12g BBs are the usual choice for low-powered polymer spring pistols, so check the manual for the recommended weight. Spring pistol magazines are model-specific, so spares must be listed for the Vigor 2112-A1.
Care and maintenance
Use clean, good quality BBs and never reuse BBs from the floor. Wipe the pistol with a dry cloth after use, keep it away from heat, which can distort polymer parts, and store it unloaded and uncocked. A drop of silicone oil on the slide rails now and then keeps the action smooth. Do not dry-fire the pistol excessively, as this can wear the piston.
Who is it for?
For beginners and families looking for a light, inexpensive spring pistol for supervised target practice, and anyone wanting a compact blue Hi-Capa style pistol for plinking.
Please note: BBs are not listed as included. Always wear suitable eye and face protection, and make sure anyone nearby does too.
