Description
Enola Gaye Twin Vent II Smoke Grenade – Orange (TWV40O)
The Enola Gaye Twin Vent II is a wire-pull smoke grenade that releases smoke from both ends of the tube, producing a dense cloud of orange smoke. Model TWV40O, it is a popular choice for airsoft and paintball, field simulation and training, and for photography, film and video work.
Enola Gaye is one of the best-known names in coloured smoke, and the Twin Vent II is one of its signature products. Orange smoke stands out clearly against green woodland, grey urban areas and the sky, making it ideal for signalling and marking as well as for dramatic visual effects.
How it works
The Twin Vent II uses a wire-pull igniter. Holding the grenade firmly, pull the ring sharply at a right angle to the side of the unit; smoke then vents from both ends of the tube. Because the smoke comes out of two vents rather than one, it builds a thicker cloud more quickly, which is ideal for screening movement or creating a striking effect for photos. Enola Gaye quotes a burn time of around 25 seconds.
Using it in games and shoots
In airsoft and paintball, orange smoke is often used to mark objectives, extraction points, casualty collection points or team positions, and to screen a push across open ground. For photographers and film-makers, the bright colour and dense output make for eye-catching images. The casing stays cool enough to handle with gloves once lit, so the grenade can be repositioned if needed.

Care and maintenance
Store the grenades in a cool, dry place away from heat, flames and direct sunlight, and out of reach of children. Use outdoors only, keep at least 2 metres away once lit, wear gloves and eye protection, and avoid breathing in the smoke. Coloured smoke can stain clothing and surfaces at close range, so keep it at a distance from kit and vehicles. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions supplied with the product.
