This is a pack of 8 Pyrosoft PIRO-F1-G airsoft hand grenades, styled on the classic F1 “pineapple” grenade, with its distinctive segmented oval body. Pyrosoft makes a wide range of pyrotechnic grenades for airsoft, and the PIRO-F1-G combines a loud report with a peas filling to make it clear who was caught in the blast. Grenades like this are ideal for clearing rooms, flushing players out of cover and adding atmosphere to scenario and milsim games.
A pack of 8 is a practical quantity for a weekend of games or for sharing across a squad. Its familiar F1 shape suits Eastern Bloc, WW2 and Cold War themed loadouts as well as general skirmishing.
How it works
Pyrosoft grenades use a lever and safety pin system that mimics the handling of a real grenade. Hold the grenade so that the lever is pressed firmly against the body, pull the safety pin, then throw. As the grenade leaves your hand the lever springs away, releasing the striker, and after a short delay the grenade goes off with a loud crack. Never pull the pin unless you intend to throw immediately, and never try to replace a pin once the lever has been released.
Filling and effect
The G version is filled with peas set in wax. When the grenade goes off, the peas are thrown outwards and physically strike players nearby, so there is no argument about who was caught in the blast. Combined with the report, it makes the grenade effective in buildings and around cover, where opponents cannot simply rely on hearing it land.

The body is designed to be thrown and handled in normal field conditions. Always keep grenades dry until use and handle them with care.

Compatibility
These are hand-thrown grenades and are not designed to be fired from a launcher. They fit most standard grenade pouches; check pouch size if you use a tight-fitting design. Pyrotechnics are not permitted at every airsoft site, so check your site’s rules before bringing them to a game.
Care and storage
Store grenades in their original packaging in a cool, dry place, away from heat, sparks and naked flames, and out of the reach of children. Do not attempt to open, modify or reuse a grenade. If a grenade fails to go off, leave it where it is, do not approach or pick it up straight away, and inform a marshal. Check the condition of each grenade before use and do not use one that is damaged or damp inside. Pyrotechnic products have a limited shelf life, so use them in good time.
