AT A GLANCE

Product overview

These are spare shells for the Double Bell M1894 lever-action rifle. The M1894 is a shell-ejecting replica, so each BB is loaded into a cartridge-style shell that is thrown clear when you work the lever. Shells are the heart of the rifle's appeal, and they are also the part you are most likely to lose.

Description

Double Bell Spare Shells for M1894 Lever Action Rifle

These are spare shells for the Double Bell M1894 lever-action rifle. The M1894 is a shell-ejecting replica, so each BB is loaded into a cartridge-style shell that is thrown clear when you work the lever. Shells are the heart of the rifle’s appeal, and they are also the part you are most likely to lose.

The Double Bell M1894 is a lever-action rifle styled on the Winchester Model 1894. Its headline feature is shell ejection: each BB is loaded into its own cartridge-style shell, and working the lever throws the empty shell clear of the rifle, just as the real thing does. Our own listing of the Double Bell M1894 (104) describes it as 12g CO2 powered.

Why carry spares

Ejected shells land in grass, leaves and mud, and on a busy site some will never be found again. Every lost shell means one fewer round you can load, so a stock of spares keeps the rifle running through a full game day and saves time searching the ground between games.

Spare shells also let you keep some loaded and ready in a pouch, so reloading the rifle is quicker in a game.

Using the shells

Load BBs into the shells as described in the rifle’s manual, then feed the shells into the rifle. Working the lever chambers a shell and, after firing, ejects it. Pick up ejected shells after each game where it is safe to do so, and many players use a brass catcher bag or a light-coloured groundsheet when target shooting to make collection easier.

Key features

  • Spare shells for the Double Bell M1894 (as named)
  • Replaces shells lost during play
  • Keep loaded shells ready for faster reloads
  • Genuine Double Bell part
  • Essential spare for shell-ejecting rifles

Compatibility

Made for the Double Bell M1894 lever-action rifle, as named. Shell designs vary between makers, so shells for other lever-action replicas should not be assumed to fit, and these should not be assumed to fit other rifles. The quantity in each pack is not stated in the details we hold, so please check the product images or contact us.

Care and maintenance

Keep shells clean and dry, and wipe off grit before reloading, as dirt can cause feeding problems. Check shells for cracks or deformed rims and retire any damaged ones.

Store shells in a pouch or box so they are not crushed in your kit bag.

Who is it for?

These shells are for Double Bell M1894 owners who want to keep their rifle fully loaded through a game day and not be caught short by lost shells.

Please note: Always wear suitable eye protection when using airsoft replicas.
