Ares CO2 Bolt Action Conversion Kit (TX System – TX-CO2-001)
The Ares TX-CO2-001 is a CO2 conversion bolt for Ares TX System bolt-action sniper rifles, such as the MS338 and MS700. It replaces the spring-cocking set-up so the rifle is powered by a 12g CO2 caplet held in the bolt.
Ares is a Hong Kong maker known for innovative designs, and the TX System is its modular sniper rifle platform. This kit gives TX owners another way to run their rifle, with a gas-powered bolt that does not need a heavy spring to be compressed on each shot.
How it works
The 12g CO2 caplet loads into the bolt, which is then reinstalled in the rifle. Retailer listings rate it at over 100 shots per caplet. Working the bolt is lighter than cocking a strong spring, which some players find helps them stay steady on target between shots.
The kit is supplied with an M130 spring, and the bolt is made from stainless steel parts.
Installation
