Description
KWC MKV Co2 Pistol (Non Blowback – Black – KWC-KC-44DHN)
The KWC MKV, code KWC-KC-44DHN, is a CO2-powered, non-blowback airsoft pistol in black, styled on the Makarov, the compact pistol that was the standard Soviet military sidearm from 1951 to 1991. It is a full metal-frame replica of the MP-654K version, with the small, rounded profile that makes the Makarov so recognisable.
KWC is a Taiwanese manufacturer known for affordable CO2 pistols with solid metal construction. The MKV runs on standard 12g CO2 capsules, which hold their pressure well in cold weather, making it a dependable year-round pistol for target practice, plinking and Cold War themed games.
Build and materials
The frame is full metal, giving the MKV a weight of around 0.7kg and a solid, quality feel in the hand. At about 160mm long it is compact and easy to carry. A lanyard loop is fitted at the base of the grip, as on the original, and the magazine is released with a bottom latch in the traditional style.
How it works
A 12g CO2 capsule fits inside the pistol, and a hex wrench is supplied for fitting and removing it. Each pull of the trigger releases a burst of gas to fire one BB. Because this is a non-blowback design, the slide stays fixed, so all of the gas goes into the shot, the sights stay perfectly still and you get more shots from each capsule.
The hammer moves when the trigger is pulled, and a safety on the slide disables the trigger when engaged. The magazine holds 13 rounds plus one.
Why CO2
CO2 pistols are less affected by cold weather than green gas pistols, which makes them a sensible choice for winter use. Capsules are inexpensive and easy to find, and the non-blowback action keeps gas use low and maintenance simple.

Compatibility
Uses standard 12g CO2 capsules. Fires standard 6mm BBs; 0.20g BBs are a good all-round choice. Use KWC magazines made for the MKV/Makarov; please ask us before buying spares.
Holsters made for the Makarov PM shape are the best fit.
Care and maintenance
CO2 replicas are simple to maintain, but the seals benefit from a little care. Put a drop of silicone oil on the tip of each new 12g CO2 capsule before fitting it; the gas carries the oil through the seals and keeps them supple. Wipe the replica down after use and run a cleaning rod with a clean patch through the inner barrel from time to time.
Do not leave a part-used capsule in the replica for long periods; when you have finished shooting, fire off or carefully release the remaining gas and remove the capsule so the seals are not under constant pressure. Store indoors at room temperature and use good quality seamless 6mm BBs to protect the barrel and hop-up.
Who is it for?
The KWC MKV suits players and collectors who want a compact, all-metal Makarov-style pistol that works well in cold weather, and anyone building a Cold War or Eastern Bloc themed loadout.
Please note: CO2 capsules and BBs are not included unless stated above. Always wear suitable eye and face protection and check the power and safety rules at your site before play.
