Description
Vigor 1911 Spring Pistol (Blue, Polymer, 2123-A1)
The Vigor 1911 (2123-A1) is a spring-powered pistol in the shape of the classic 1911, made from polymer and finished in blue. Spring pistols are cocked by hand before each shot, so they need no gas or battery, cost nothing to run beyond BBs and work in any weather.
The 1911 is one of the most recognisable pistol designs ever made, and this affordable version is a simple, approachable way to try airsoft, practise target shooting or add a basic backup pistol to your kit. The blue finish makes it easy to identify as a replica.
Build and handling
The polymer construction keeps the pistol light and easy to hold, which suits newer shooters. The 1911 grip shape and slim profile are comfortable in the hand, and the familiar layout makes the pistol easy to understand.
Check the product images for details such as the sights and safety so you know how the pistol is set up before you use it.
How it works
To fire, cock the pistol by pulling back the slide, which compresses the spring and chambers a BB from the magazine, then aim and pull the trigger. Cocking for every shot encourages slow, careful aiming, which is good practice for accuracy.
Because it is spring powered, the Vigor 1911 is ideal for back-garden target practice with a suitable target and a safe backstop.
Using it safely
Always treat the pistol as if it is loaded, keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to fire, and only point it at a target. Use a proper BB trap or target, and make sure everyone nearby is wearing eye protection.
Getting the best from it
Load the magazine carefully without forcing BBs in, and make sure it clicks fully home before you cock the pistol. If a BB fails to feed, remove the magazine, point the pistol in a safe direction and clear the BB with a cleaning rod rather than forcing the slide.
For target practice, set up a target with a proper BB trap at a sensible distance, start close and move back as your grouping improves. Shooting slowly from a steady stance with both hands on the grip is the quickest way to build good habits that carry over to any pistol.

Compatibility
Use magazines listed for the Vigor 1911 2123-A1. Use 6mm BBs; 0.12g or 0.20g seamless BBs are the usual choice for spring pistols of this type, and better quality BBs give more consistent shots.
Care and maintenance
Spring pistols are simple, but a little care keeps them working smoothly. Keep the barrel clean with a cleaning rod and dry patch, and use only good quality seamless 6mm BBs.
Do not leave the pistol cocked when storing it, and remove the magazine and any loose BBs. Wipe the outside down after use and keep it in a pistol case or bag away from heat and direct sunlight.
Avoid petroleum-based oils; a small amount of silicone oil on moving parts during occasional cleaning is all that is needed.
Who is it for?
The Vigor 1911 is for newcomers and anyone who wants a light, inexpensive spring pistol for target practice or as a simple backup.
Please note: Always wear suitable eye protection when using or near the pistol.
