This is a replacement top slide in black for the Cyma CM030 AEP. The Cyma CM030 is an automatic electric pistol (AEP) in the style of the Glock 18C, powered by a small battery and a compact electric gearbox rather than gas. That makes it consistent in cold weather and cheap to run, and it is a popular choice as a sidearm or as a first replica.

The top slide is the most visible part of the pistol and takes most of the knocks when it is holstered, drawn and used around cover. A replacement restores the look of a scratched, cracked or damaged CM030, and can be used to change the pistol’s appearance if your original is a different colour.

Why replace it

Because an AEP’s slide does not move during firing, damage to it is mostly cosmetic, but a cracked slide can loosen and rattle, and a broken sight or front edge spoils the look of the pistol. A factory replacement fits the pistol as it was designed.

Fitting
