2S, 3S, LiPo and LiFe explained
The S number is how many cells are in series. A 2S LiPo is 7.4V and a 3S LiPo is 11.1V, while a 2S LiFe is 6.6V and a 3S LiFe is 9.9V. LiPo and LiFe cells charge to different voltages, so always choose the correct battery type on the charger. Charging at 1000mA or 1500mA lets you pick a gentler or quicker rate to suit the size of your battery; as a rule, lower rates are kinder to small packs.

Connect the battery’s balance lead to the charger as instructed, so each cell is monitored. Choose the correct chemistry and charge rate, then charge in a LiPo-safe bag on a non-flammable surface. Read the supplied instructions before first use.
