Description
ACM 552 Scope with Red and Green Holographic Sight (Color Box – Tan)
The ACM 552 is a holographic-style sight modelled on the famous 552 design, here in tan and supplied in a colour box. It has the 552’s rectangular window and hooded body, and, as the name says, red and green reticle options. In tan it matches desert, coyote and multicam-style rifles and kit, and makes a striking change from the usual black optic.
ACM’s 552 gives you the look of one of the most recognisable optics on modern rifles at a price that suits airsoft players. It is a popular first optic and an easy way to change the look of an M4, SCAR or SMG. A black version is also listed.
The 552 design
The rectangular window and protective hood give a large, open view with very little tunnel effect, so you can see plenty around your target. Because the reticle appears to sit on the target, you do not need to line up front and rear sights, which makes the sight quick to use in CQB and when switching between targets.
It has no magnification, so keep both eyes open and stay aware of what is going on around you.
Red or green
Choose the reticle colour that shows up best on the day: red is a strong all-round choice, and green can be easier to see against dark or warm-coloured backgrounds. Check the product images or instructions for how to switch colour and for the battery and mounting details.
Key features
- 552-style holographic-type sight
- Red and green reticle options (as named)
- Wide rectangular window
- Tan finish
- Supplied in a colour box (as named)
- Black version also listed
Compatibility
Designed to sit on a top rail. Please check the mounting details in the product images and make sure your rail has room for the sight’s base. On M4-style rifles it is often paired with a flip-to-side magnifier behind it. We also list ACM kill flash units and clear covers made for 551/552 sights. This is a replica optic for airsoft use only.
Care and maintenance
Clean the lenses with a soft lens cloth or lens pen only, and avoid wiping grit across the glass. A lens protector or kill flash is worth fitting if you play in muddy or busy areas, as a direct BB hit can crack an exposed lens. Switch the sight off after use, remove the battery if it will be stored for a while, and check the mount is tight before each game day.
Who is it for?
For players who want the classic 552 look in tan and a quick, wide-window sight for CQB and general skirmishing.
Please note: Replica optic for airsoft use only. Check the product images for the battery type. Always wear suitable eye protection.
