Description
Big Foot V2 Mesh Glasses (Black)
The Big Foot V2 Mesh Glasses are compact mesh goggles in black, with a steel mesh panel in front of each eye instead of a plastic lens, held on by an elastic strap. Because air flows straight through the mesh, the eyepieces do not mist up, even on hot, humid days or when you are running hard between positions.
Big Foot makes a large range of affordable protective gear and accessories for airsoft. The V2 keeps the profile small, so the glasses sit comfortably under a helmet or cap and alongside most lower-face masks. The black frame and strap match almost any loadout and suit CQB and all-black kit. They are also a sensible, low-cost spare to keep in the kit bag in case a lens fogs or cracks on the day.
Design and fit
The V2 uses a two-eyepiece design, with each eyepiece holding its own mesh panel. The frame is shaped to wrap around the eye area to help keep BBs out from the sides, and the strap adjusts to suit your head and any headgear you wear. Check the product photos for the exact frame shape before ordering.
Looking through mesh gives a slightly darker view than a clear lens, and in poor light fine detail can be harder to pick out. Most players get used to it within a game or two, and the absence of fogging more than makes up for it on warm days or in steamy indoor sites.
Mesh eye protection and site rules
Mesh stops whole BBs and lets air pass straight through, which is why it does not fog. The trade-off is that small fragments of a BB that shatters on impact, and fine grit or dust, can pass through the openings. For this reason some sites do not accept mesh as eye protection, and others only allow it for certain games.
No impact or safety rating is stated on our listing, so please check your site’s rules before you rely on mesh as your eye protection. If your site requires a sealed, rated lens, use the mesh item as extra protection alongside approved goggles or glasses, not instead of them.

Compatibility
Works with most helmets, caps and lower-face masks, and pairs well with a mesh or fabric lower mask for full face cover. They are not designed to be worn over prescription glasses. Check your site’s rules on mesh eye protection before playing.
Care and maintenance
Brush dust, mud and dried debris off the mesh with a soft brush after each game, then wipe the frame and strap with a damp cloth. Let everything dry naturally at room temperature before packing it away, as steel mesh left damp can start to rust, and keep it away from direct heat.
Inspect the mesh before every game. If it is dented, has a broken wire or is coming away from the frame, replace the item before using it again. Replace the strap if it has lost its stretch, and store it in a bag or pouch where heavier kit will not crush it.
Who is it for?
Players who are tired of fogging lenses, especially in summer or during fast, active games, and who play at sites that accept mesh, as well as anyone wanting a light, low-cost spare pair in black.
Please note: Mesh eye protection is not accepted at every site, as BB fragments can pass through mesh, and no impact rating is stated on our listing. Check your site’s rules and always wear eye protection your site approves.
