Buying a replica (RIFs and UKARA)
Do I need to be 18 to buy from OnlyAirsoft?
Yes. You must be 18 or over to buy airsoft replicas and other age-restricted items, and we ask you to confirm this at checkout. Couriers may ask for ID when they deliver.
What is a RIF, and what is UKARA?
A RIF (realistic imitation firearm) is a replica that looks like a real gun. Under UK law you need a valid defence to buy one, and the most common is being a regular airsoft skirmisher registered on the UKARA database. Another option is an Airsoft Defence membership, which also verifies you as an active player. Our UKARA, RIFs and two-tones guide explains it in plain English.
I’m not UKARA registered yet. Can I still buy a replica?
Yes, you can buy a two-tone replica, which is brightly coloured so it isn’t classed as a RIF. You still need to be 18 or over. Once you have played regularly at a site and registered with UKARA, you can buy RIFs.
When will my RIF order be sent?
Orders containing a RIF are only dispatched once we have confirmed your age and your legal defence, such as your UKARA registration. If we need anything from you, we’ll get in touch straight away.
Orders and delivery
How much is delivery?
UK standard delivery is £6.95 per order, and free on orders over £100. Click & collect from our Thetford shop is always free. The exact charge is always shown at checkout before you pay. See Delivery Information for full details.
Do you deliver outside the UK?
No. For legal reasons we only deliver to UK addresses and don’t send airsoft replicas abroad.
How do I know when my order has been sent?
We email you when your order is dispatched. You can also check your order status any time in My account.
Can you post gas, batteries and pyro?
Some items, such as gas canisters, pyrotechnics and lithium batteries, have carriage restrictions. We may need to send them by a specific service, or they may be collection in store only. The product page or checkout will tell you.
Can I collect my order from the shop?
Yes. You’re welcome to collect from 20–22 Castle Street, Thetford, IP24 2DW. Please contact us before you travel so we can check your item is ready.
How can I pay?
You can pay by card at checkout, or spread the cost with Klarna: pay in full, pay later or pay over time, subject to Klarna’s approval.
Returns and faults
Can I return something I’ve changed my mind about?
Yes. For online and phone orders you can cancel within 14 days of receiving your goods, then you have a further 14 days to send them back. Opened consumables (BBs, gas, oils), pyrotechnics and unsealed hygiene items can’t be returned for a change of mind. Read our Returns & Refunds Policy for the full details.
My item is faulty. What should I do?
Contact us as soon as you notice a problem, ideally with photos or a short video. Within 30 days of delivery you can reject a faulty item for a full refund, and after that we’ll repair or replace it. We pay reasonable return postage for faulty or incorrect items.
My parcel arrived damaged.
Please take photos and let us know within 48 hours on 01842 683567 or at [email protected], and we’ll sort it out.

Where are you and when are you open?
We’re at 20–22 Castle Street, Thetford, Norfolk IP24 2DW. Opening hours are Monday to Saturday 10:00–17:30 and Sunday 10:00–16:00. See Store information for directions.
Do you refill HPA tanks?
Yes, we offer HPA refills in store. See our HPA refills page for details.
Do you have a shooting range?
Yes. Our indoor shooting range uses the Attack Sense smart target system. Bring your own replica or use ours, and ask the team about session availability and prices. Eye protection must be worn at all times.
