Description
ACM Ear Protectors (OD)
ACM Ear Protectors in OD green are over-ear hearing protectors with a headband. They are designed to cut down noise, making them useful for airsoft games with plenty of pyro, indoor sites where gunfire echoes, range days and noisy jobs at home or in the workshop.
Hearing damage builds up over time and does not recover, so it is worth protecting your ears from loud, repeated noise. Ear defenders are one of the simplest ways to do that, and the OD green colour blends in with military-style and woodland kit.
Why wear ear protection at airsoft
Grenades, pyrotechnics and gunfire in enclosed spaces can be very loud. Many players at CQB sites and milsim events wear ear protection to make long days more comfortable. Over-ear defenders also cover the ears themselves, which some players appreciate. Check that the protectors sit comfortably with your eye protection, helmet or cap, and that you can still hear the marshals and your team well enough to play safely.
Fit and comfort
The headband design is quick to put on and take off. Adjust the cups so they sit fully over your ears with a good seal around them; gaps from hair, glasses arms or the straps of your goggles can let noise in. If you wear a helmet, check how the headband fits with it before game day.
