Description
ACM Green Gas Grenade (72 Rounds, Metal)
This ACM green gas grenade is a metal gas-powered BB shell listed with a 72-round capacity. Shells of this type are loaded with BBs and charged with green gas, then fired from a compatible airsoft grenade launcher to put a burst of BBs downrange in one shot.
ACM produces budget-friendly accessories and replica parts, and a metal gas grenade like this is an affordable way to try launcher play or add spare shells to your kit. A 72-round load gives a dense spread at close range, which is useful for clearing rooms or forcing opponents out of cover.
How it works
BBs go into the chambers at the front of the shell and gas is filled through the valve at the base. When the launcher’s firing pin strikes the valve, the stored gas is released at once and drives the BBs out together. The shell is then refilled with BBs and gas for the next shot, so it can be used again and again.
Using it in games
Gas grenades are at their best at short to medium range where a burst of BBs can cover a doorway or a section of hedge line. Site rules on launchers vary, so check with your site before bringing one to a game, and get used to the timing of loading and firing before relying on it in play.

Care and maintenance
Put a drop of silicone oil on the fill valve now and then to keep the seal supple, and don’t overfill. Store the shell with a small amount of gas in it so the seals stay seated.
Keep BBs clean and dry, and wipe the shell down after outdoor games, especially around the BB chambers and valve, to stop grit getting into the seals.
