The ACM/Snow Wolf Concept Assault Rifle is the M41A-style AEG modelled on the pulse rifle from the 1986 film Aliens. It is a favourite with collectors, cosplayers and players who want something distinctive on the field, and features such as the working digital ammunition counter and the mock under-barrel pump are a big part of its appeal.
Why replace the wiring
Wiring is easy to overlook, but it carries every bit of power the motor uses. Over time, insulation can crack, wires can be pinched during reassembly, and connectors can loosen or burn. Any of these can cause poor trigger response, intermittent firing or no firing at all. On this rifle, the battery sits in the mock under-barrel pump, so the wiring run is specific to the design, and fitting the correct replacement loom is much easier than making up your own.
The fuse
The in-line fuse protects the motor, trigger contacts and wiring from short circuits and overloads. If the rifle suddenly stops firing, a blown fuse is one of the first things to check. Always replace a fuse with one of the same rating, and if fuses keep blowing, look for the underlying fault rather than fitting a larger one.

Compatibility
For the ACM/Snow Wolf Concept Assault Rifle (Snow Wolf M41A-style AEG, SW-11 series). It is designed for this rifle only and will not suit other AEGs. Check that your rifle is the Snow Wolf/ACM model before ordering. The rifle takes an 8.4V stick-type battery with a mini Tamiya plug; if you use a battery with a different connector, you will need a suitable adaptor.
Care and maintenance
When routing the new wiring, make sure it cannot be trapped between body parts or rubbed by moving components. Disconnect the battery whenever the rifle is not in use, check the connector for signs of heat or looseness from time to time, and replace the fuse only with one of the same rating.
