ACM V1 Strike Steel Half Face Mask (One Belt Version – Black)
The ACM V1 Strike Steel Half Face Mask is a lower-face mask made from steel mesh, built to protect your mouth, teeth, nose and cheeks from BB hits. This is the one-belt version in black, held in place by a single strap around the back of the head.
Steel mesh half masks are one of the most popular forms of face protection in airsoft because they are light, tough and inexpensive. Black goes with almost any kit, from urban and CQB loadouts to woodland camouflage.
Protection and comfort
A BB to the mouth or teeth is painful and can do real damage, so lower-face protection is worth having at any site and is often required for younger players and in close-quarters games. Steel mesh stops BBs while letting air through freely, so you can breathe and talk to your team easily. Warm breath escapes through the mesh rather than rising into your goggles, which helps to reduce fogging.
One-belt fit
The single-strap layout is quick to put on and take off, and it sits neatly under caps, hoods and helmets. Adjust the strap so the mask sits snugly without pressing on your nose, and check that the top edge meets your goggles without leaving a gap. If you wear a helmet or headset, try the fit with them before game day.

Compatibility
Steel mesh masks protect the face, not the eyes, so wear this with sealed, impact-rated airsoft goggles or glasses. Check that your goggles sit comfortably on the top edge of the mask. A single-strap mask fits under most caps and helmets, but try the fit with your own kit.
Care and maintenance
Rinse off mud and sweat with warm water and a little mild soap, then let the mask dry completely before storing it so the steel and fittings do not corrode. Check the mesh for dents or broken strands after heavy hits, and replace the mask if it is damaged. Store it where it will not be crushed, as a bent mask will not sit properly against your face.
