AEGIS FMG-9 Conversion Kit for TM/WE/VFC/ARMY – 17/18C Gen3 Series Pistol (Black – FMG9)
The AEGIS FMG-9 Conversion Kit turns a compatible 17/18C Gen3 series gas blowback pistol into a folding FMG-9-style personal defence weapon. With your pistol installed, the kit folds into a compact box shape and unfolds into a shoulder-stocked carbine, giving you a far steadier shooting platform than a pistol alone.
Because the kit uses a donor pistol rather than a dedicated mechanism, upgrades and spare parts are much easier to find than they would be for a bespoke FMG-9 replica: you keep using the magazines, parts and upgrades you already know for your pistol.
Build and materials
The frame is made from military-grade Nylon 66 polymer, a tough, high-strength material, with steel used for the connecting parts that take the strain of folding and unfolding. Folded, the kit measures approximately 260mm long, 150mm wide and 35mm thick; extended, it is approximately 490mm long and 240mm wide.
How it works
Your pistol sits inside the housing. Folded, the whole unit is compact and discreet, ideal for storage or a fun surprise at a CQB site. Unfolded, the stock and grip let you shoulder it, which makes aimed shots and controlled bursts from an automatic-capable 18C much easier than shooting a pistol one-handed.

Compatibility
Designed for Gen3 17/18C series gas blowback pistols from Tokyo Marui, WE, VFC and Army Armament. It is not compatible with Gen4 17 models or with electric 17/18 series pistols. Check your pistol’s make and generation before ordering.
Care and maintenance
Keep the hinge and folding points clean and free of grit, and check screws and connecting parts periodically for tightness. Remove the pistol for routine cleaning and maintenance of the pistol itself, and follow its own gas and lubrication care: silicone oil on magazine seals, do not overfill, and store magazines with a little gas in them.
