Description
APS 8 Round Quad-Load Shotgun Shell Plate Holder with Belt Loop (Black/Carbone Fire – Caddy)
This APS shell plate holder carries eight shotgun shells in two groups of four, ready for fast quad-loading, and comes with a belt loop so it can be worn on your belt. It is listed in Black/Carbone Fire.
APS is known for its CAM870 shell-fed shotguns, where each shell holds a load of BBs. Shotgun players often lose time digging shells out of pouches, so a caddy that holds them in a fixed, predictable position makes reloading in a game much quicker.
How quad-loading works
Quad-loading means picking up four shells at once and feeding them into the shotgun in quick succession. A plate holder presents the shells in the right orientation so you can grab them in one movement, without fumbling.
With eight shells on the caddy, you have two quick reloads on hand, which is often enough to keep a shotgun running through a busy CQB engagement.
Wearing it
Fit the belt loop to your belt on the side of your support hand, where you can reach it easily without looking. Practise grabbing and loading shells at home with the shotgun unloaded until the movement becomes natural.
Shell fit
The APS quad-load caddy system is listed elsewhere as designed for APS CAM870 shells. If you use shells from another maker, check they suit the holder before relying on it in a game.
