Description
APS “Hades” Mortar (1 Missile – Co2 Powered – HA001)
The APS Hades (HA001) is a CO2-powered airsoft mortar that launches a finned projectile, supplied here with one missile. It gives a team a way to put a round onto a position from behind cover, adding an indirect fire element to scenario and milsim games.
APS is known for innovative airsoft products such as its CAM shotgun shells, and the Hades brings a mortar into the game in a portable form. It is a specialist item, best suited to experienced players and organised games where support weapons are part of the scenario.
How it works
The Hades is powered by CO2, which drives the missile out of the tube in an arc. APS also sells spares for the Hades system, including replacement rubber seals, a wing stand and fin sets, which shows how the system is put together: a projectile with fins for stable flight, launched from a tube that can be set on a stand.
Read the instructions supplied with the mortar carefully before first use so you understand how to charge it, load the missile and fire it safely.
Using it in a game
Indirect fire takes practice. Spend time on a safe range learning how angle and distance relate before you use the Hades in a game, and always make sure the landing area is clear. Check with your site before bringing it, as many sites have their own rules for mortars and launchers, and some do not allow them at all.
Recover your missile after each shot, and keep a note of how the fins and seals look so you can replace parts before they wear out.

Compatibility
Designed for APS Hades missiles. APS replacement seals, fin sets and wing stands are made for the Hades system. Check the manual for the type of CO2 supply it needs before buying gas.
Care and maintenance
Never store the mortar with CO2 connected, and release any remaining gas after use. Check the rubber seals before each game and replace them when they show wear, and inspect the missile’s fins for damage, since bent fins affect flight. Keep the tube clean and dry, and store the system in a dry place.
Who is it for?
Experienced players, milsim and scenario teams who want indirect fire capability, and collectors of unusual airsoft support weapons.
Please note: CO2 is not included. Always wear full-seal eye protection when using or near the mortar, check your site’s rules on mortars before bringing it, and never fire it at people at close range.
