Description
APS Hell Fire Grenade (198 Rounds – Co2 Powered – XP-03)
The APS Hell Fire is a CO2-powered 40mm grenade shell that holds 198 6mm BBs, model XP-03. When fired from a compatible 40mm launcher, it releases its BBs in a single burst, giving a shotgun-style spread that can hit several players at once. APS is a long-established airsoft manufacturer known for its gas launchers, shotguns and pistols, and the Hell Fire is part of its 40mm launcher range.
A 198-round shower shell is a popular choice for grenadiers who want maximum effect when clearing rooms, pushing corridors or holding a doorway. Being CO2 powered, it gives a strong, consistent discharge.
Using the Hell Fire
Load the shell with BBs, then charge it with CO2 following the instructions supplied with the shell. Insert it into your 40mm launcher, aim and fire; the full load of BBs is released in one go. Practise at your site’s range or a safe area before a game so you understand the spread and range.
Because it is CO2 powered, always follow the maker’s filling instructions, use the correct charging equipment and never overfill.
On the field
Shower shells work best at close to medium range, where the spread of BBs is most effective. Many grenadiers carry several shells so they can reload quickly. Check that your site allows CO2 launcher shells and any power or range rules that apply to them.
