Description
Ares Amoeba Diamond Precision 0.40g (1000 BBs)
Ares Amoeba Diamond Precision 6mm airsoft BBs at 0.40g, supplied in a pack of 1000 rounds. Choosing a consistent, well-made BB matters as much as any internal upgrade, and these are made for exactly that job.
Ares is a Hong Kong airsoft manufacturer, and Amoeba is its in-house brand for rifles, accessories and consumables. Using quality BBs helps protect your hop-up rubber and inner barrel, and gives more predictable results on the field.
Choosing the weight
0.40g is a sniper-grade weight intended for bolt-action rifles and DMRs with a hop-up capable of lifting heavy BBs. Heavy BBs are much less affected by wind and hold a steadier line at range.
It is not suitable for most stock AEGs or pistols, which cannot apply enough hop to lift it, so use it only in a replica set up for heavy ammunition.
Packaging
Each pack holds 1000 BBs. Heavy BBs are used more sparingly than skirmish ammunition, as sniper and DMR players fire fewer, more deliberate shots, so 1000 rounds goes a long way.
Keep the BBs in a sealed container once opened so they stay clean and dry.

Care and maintenance
Keep BBs clean, dry and in a sealed container. A dirty, dented or damp BB can jam a magazine, damage a hop-up rubber or affect accuracy, so never reuse BBs picked up from the floor.
Store them away from heat and damp, and avoid mixing different weights in the same bottle, as mixed weights give inconsistent shots.
Who is it for?
They suit sniper and DMR players with rifles set up for heavy ammunition.
Please note: The replica is not included. Always wear eye protection when using airsoft BBs.
