Ares Amoeba OctaArms Flashlight with Mount (KM-ACC-006)
This is the Ares Amoeba OctaArms flashlight, supplied with a mount, code KM-ACC-006. It is part of the accessory line made to go with Ares’s Amoeba OctaArms Keymod handguards, so it gives those rifles a clean, matching set-up, and it is just as useful on other replicas with a suitable mounting point.
A weapon light is one of the most practical accessories you can add. It lets you check dark corners and rooms, identify targets at night and move through buildings with confidence, and it gives your replica a modern, ready-for-anything look.
Why use a weapon light
Indoor CQB sites, night games and dense woodland at dusk all have places where you simply cannot see what is in front of you. A light on your replica lights up the area you are aiming at, so you can see the target and your surroundings while keeping both hands on the gun.
Use short bursts of light rather than leaving it on all the time, as a constant beam gives your position away. Never shine a bright light straight into another player’s eyes at close range.
Mounting
The light comes with a mount, so you can fit it to your handguard straight away. Place it where you can reach the switch comfortably with your support hand and where the beam is not blocked by the muzzle or a front sight. Check it is tight before each game.

Compatibility
OctaArms is the name Ares uses for its Amoeba Keymod handguard range, and the KM- prefix on the code suggests a Keymod mount. Mounts vary, though, so please compare the mount in the product images with your handguard or rail before ordering, and contact us with your replica model if you are unsure.
Care and maintenance
Switch the light off after use and remove its batteries if it will be stored for a while, to prevent leakage. Wipe the lens with a soft cloth and keep mud away from the switch. Check the mount screws regularly, as vibration and knocks can loosen them.
