Description
Ares Amoeba OctaArms Laser with Mount (KM-ACC-007)
This is an Ares Amoeba OctaArms laser unit supplied with a mount, code KM-ACC-007. OctaArms is the name Ares uses for its Amoeba Keymod handguard range, and this laser is part of the matching accessory line, made to fit neatly on those rifles.
A laser is a popular accessory for night games, indoor sites and for anyone who likes a modern, fully kitted look. It also helps with quick, instinctive aiming in close quarters, where there is not always time to bring a sight up to your eye.
Using a laser in airsoft
A laser projects a small dot that shows roughly where your replica is pointing. It is most useful at short range and in low light, and many players use it alongside a red dot or iron sights rather than instead of them. Zero the laser to your replica at your usual engagement distance, after setting your hop-up.
Never point a laser at another player’s face or eyes, and check your site’s rules, as some sites restrict or ban lasers.
The mount
The unit is supplied with a mount, so you can fit it to your handguard straight away. Position it where it does not get in the way of your support hand, and check it is secure before each game.

Compatibility
The OctaArms name is used by Ares for its Amoeba Keymod handguard range, and the KM- prefix on the code suggests a Keymod mount, but please check the mount in the product images against your handguard or rail before ordering. If you are not sure, send us your replica model and we will help.
Care and maintenance
Switch the laser off after use and, if it holds batteries, remove them before storing it for long periods. Clean the lens gently with a soft cloth and keep it free of mud. Check the mount screws now and then, as a loose mount will shift your zero.
Who is it for?
For players with an Ares Amoeba OctaArms or similar replica who want a laser for night games, CQB and a modern look.
Please note: Never shine a laser into anyone’s eyes. Check your site’s rules on lasers before use, and always wear suitable eye protection.
