The Ares Amoeba Striker Tactical Advanced Butt Pad with Cheek Pad is an official Ares upgrade set for the Amoeba Striker bolt-action sniper rifle, here in OD (olive drab), part code AS-PAD001-OD. It replaces the standard rear furniture with a raised, adjustable cheek pad and an adjustable butt pad, letting you set the rifle up to fit you.
The Striker is one of the most popular spring sniper platforms in airsoft, and a consistent cheek weld behind the scope is one of the simplest ways to shoot it more accurately. This set does that without a major rebuild, and the OD colour suits green and woodland-themed rifles.
Why fit it
With a magnified optic fitted, your eye has to line up with the centre of the scope every time you shoulder the rifle. If the cheek rest is too low, you end up lifting your head off the stock, and your aim drifts from shot to shot. Raising the cheek pad to the correct height lets your face rest naturally in the same place, giving a repeatable sight picture and less neck strain while you wait for a target.
The adjustable butt pad tunes how the stock sits in your shoulder, which helps whether you play in a T-shirt in summer, a thick smock in winter, or a plate carrier and chest rig.
Fitting and set-up
Ares describes the set as easy to install, and it is made specifically for the Striker stock, so no cutting should be needed. Set the cheek pad height with your usual scope mounted, and the butt pad while wearing the kit you normally play in.

Compatibility
Ares lists this set for the Amoeba Striker AS-01 and AS-02. It is a Striker-specific part and will not fit other sniper platforms such as VSR-10 types. If you own a different Striker variant, compare your stock with the product photos before ordering. It is also available in other colours, so you can match or contrast your rifle.
Care and maintenance
Check the adjustment fixings before each game day, as stocks take knocks when you go prone or move through cover. Wipe off mud and dust with a damp cloth and let the parts dry before storage.
Avoid solvents and harsh cleaners, and do not overtighten the fixings.
