This is the Ares Amoeba Striker Tactical Advanced Butt Pad with Cheek Pad, an official Ares upgrade set for the Amoeba Striker bolt-action sniper rifle, here in tan (part code AS-PAD001-DE). It replaces the standard rear furniture of the Striker with a raised, adjustable cheek pad and an adjustable butt pad, so the rifle can be set up to suit your build rather than the other way round.
The Striker is one of the most popular spring sniper platforms in airsoft. Getting a consistent cheek weld behind a scope is one of the simplest ways to shoot it more accurately, and this set is designed to do exactly that without a major rebuild. It suits Striker owners who have added a scope and found the standard stock sits them too low or too short.
Why an adjustable stock matters
With a magnified optic fitted, your eye needs to line up with the centre of the scope every time you shoulder the rifle.
