Description
Ares Classic Line SMLE Series Scope and Mount (SC-018)
The Ares SC-018 is a period-style scope and mount set for Ares’ Classic Line SMLE / Lee Enfield series rifles. Modelled on the No. 32-type scope used on British sniper Lee Enfields, it lets you turn a standard Ares Lee Enfield into a convincing sniper variant, or replace an optic on an existing scoped rifle.
Ares design their Classic Line accessories to match their own rifles, so the look, finish and fit are in keeping with the rest of the rifle. It is a straightforward way to add magnification and a great deal of character to your bolt action.
Optics and build
The scope has a fixed 4x magnification, which is ample for spotting and engaging targets at typical airsoft ranges while keeping a reasonable field of view. The body is metal and the glass is clear, giving a sharp image and a solid, period-appropriate feel. The scope measures around 275mm long.
Fitting and zeroing
Fit the mount to the rifle following the instructions, making sure all screws are tightened evenly and the scope sits square. Once fitted, zero the scope to your rifle: set your hop-up for your chosen BB weight first, then adjust the scope so the reticle matches where the BBs land at your usual engagement distance. Re-check the zero if you change BB weight or remove the scope.

Compatibility
Designed for Ares Classic Line SMLE / Lee Enfield series rifles. Check your rifle’s model before ordering, and ask us if you are unsure whether it will fit.
Care and maintenance
Keep the lenses clean with a soft lens cloth or brush, and avoid touching the glass with your fingers. Store the scope or rifle somewhere dry, and if it gets wet, let it dry naturally at room temperature. Check the mount screws periodically, as recoil and handling can loosen them over time.
Who is it for?
This set is for owners of Ares Lee Enfield rifles who want an authentic sniper configuration, and for re-enactors and collectors completing a period-correct British sniper rifle.
