A purpose-made bag is a far better option than a loose holdall or bin bag. It keeps the rifle protected from knocks and weather on the way to the site, keeps magazines organised and to hand, and looks a lot less conspicuous when you are travelling.
Carrying the rifle
Compact rifles like the M45X-S are well suited to a smaller bag than a full-length rifle case. Before packing, make sure the rifle is unloaded, the magazine is removed and the battery is disconnected or taken out. Close the zips fully and check the rifle is held securely so it does not move around in transit.
