Use and setup
A spring guide supports the spring within the airsoft mechanism and needs to match the geometry of the system it is fitted to. It is a small component whose mounting shape, length and platform specification matter when planning a repair or upgrade.
Compare the product’s named platform with the original guide and the relevant parts diagram. Where the title specifies a bearing, length or material, check that this version suits the intended spring and surrounding assembly. Different gearbox and bolt-action arrangements should not be treated as interchangeable.
Care and checks
Installation requires the spring assembly to be handled correctly. Check that the guide seats securely and that the spring moves without binding before completing the build. Test the assembled replica after fitting, and assess any power-related changes with a chronograph. Keep the original component until the replacement has been checked in the completed setup.
