Description
Ares x Amoeba Diamond Precision 0.20g (Green Tracer – Bottle – 3300)
These Ares x Amoeba Diamond Precision BBs are green tracer BBs in the 0.20g weight, supplied in a bottle of 3,300. Tracer BBs are made to glow when they pass through a tracer unit, letting you follow each shot as it travels and see exactly where it lands, which is especially useful in low light and at night games.
Diamond Precision BBs are sold under the Ares and Amoeba names. Ares is a well-established Hong Kong maker, and the Diamond Precision line is offered in a spread of weights, in regular, Bio and tracer versions, and in bottles and larger packs.
Choosing the weight
A 0.20g BB is the standard starting weight for most stock AEGs, gas pistols and spring replicas. It is light enough to suit replicas at typical stock power, and it is the weight most new players begin with before experimenting with heavier BBs.
How tracer BBs work
A tracer unit, usually fitted to the muzzle or built into a magazine or mock suppressor, flashes light on to each BB as it leaves the barrel. The tracer BB is luminous, so it glows briefly and leaves a visible trail. Being able to see the path of your shots makes it far easier to correct your aim and adjust your hop-up. A green glow is easy to see against dark backgrounds, and tracers are most effective indoors, at dusk and after dark.

- 1 x bottle of 3,300 green tracer BBs (0.20g)
Compatibility
Suitable for 6mm airsoft replicas. Choose the weight to suit your replica’s power and hop-up: if you change weight, adjust the hop-up and have your replica chronographed, as BB weight affects muzzle velocity. Check the weight limits at your site, as some set limits for certain replica types. To glow, these BBs need a tracer unit, which is not included. They can also be fired from a replica without one, like ordinary BBs, but will not glow. Check your tracer unit’s guidance on BB colour and weight.
Care and maintenance
Store the BBs sealed in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and heat. Pour only what you need into a speedloader, and do not reuse BBs picked up off the floor, as grit and damage cause jams and wear. Keeping one weight and brand in a replica helps you keep the hop-up set consistently.
Who is it for?
For players who use a tracer unit and want to see where their shots go, especially at night games, indoor sites and in low light.
Please note: A tracer unit is not included.
