Description
Army Custom 5.1/4.3 Hi-Capa Series Part – Rear Sight (R501-A-016)
This is a genuine Army Armament (Army Custom) replacement rear sight for 5.1/4.3 Hi-Capa pistols, part number R501-A-016. Army Armament is known for affordable, well-built gas blowback pistols, especially its Hi-Capa models, and it supplies official spare parts so owners can keep their pistols running for years.
The rear sight is the part of the sighting system closest to your eye, lining up with the front sight to aim. Sights can be knocked, bent or lost when a pistol is dropped or banged against cover, and an original replacement brings your pistol back to the correct sight picture.
Why replace it
A damaged rear sight makes accurate shooting much harder and can make your pistol look tired. Fitting an original part restores the intended sight picture and the factory look, and is far cheaper than replacing the slide.
Some players also choose to replace a sight after an upgrade or refinish, so that the pistol looks and works as it should.
Fitting
The rear sight is fitted to the slide, so you will usually need to remove the slide from the frame. Note how the old sight is fixed and fit the new one in the same position. After fitting, check your point of aim against a target and make sure the sight is secure.
Before starting, remove the magazine, make sure the pistol is unloaded and the magazine is empty of gas and BBs. Take photos as you strip the pistol so you can reassemble it in the same order, and work over a tray so small springs and pins are not lost.
If you are not comfortable stripping a gas pistol, a local airsoft technician can fit the part for you quickly.

Care and maintenance
Keep your pistol clean and free of grit, especially after outdoor games. Wipe the outside down with a lightly oiled cloth, and put a drop of silicone oil on the magazine seals and valves from time to time. Store magazines with a small amount of gas in them to keep the seals in good condition.
Check your sights for looseness from time to time, particularly after the pistol has been dropped.
