Battleaxe VSR10 Series (14mm CCW Thread)
This Battleaxe part is a 14mm counter-clockwise (CCW) threaded adapter for VSR-10 series sniper rifles. Fitted to the muzzle end of the rifle, it provides a standard 14mm CCW thread so you can attach a mock suppressor, tracer unit or other muzzle device to a VSR-10 or VSR-based rifle.
The VSR-10 platform is one of the most popular bolt-action sniper rifles in airsoft, and many owners like to add a suppressor for looks and a more compact sound signature, or a tracer unit for night games. An adapter like this is the simplest way to do it.
About 14mm CCW threads
14mm CCW (also called 14mm negative or anti-clockwise) is the most common muzzle thread in airsoft. Most suppressors, tracers and flash hiders are made to this standard, so once your VSR-10 has a 14mm CCW thread, a wide choice of muzzle devices opens up.
Fitting
Check how your rifle’s outer barrel end is made before ordering, as VSR-10 variants and clones differ. When fitting, remove any existing end cap if required, screw the adapter on carefully and tighten it by hand; do not over-tighten. Make sure the bore is clear and centred so BBs pass through cleanly without touching the adapter or any suppressor fitted to it.
