Care and maintenance
Hand-wash in cool water with a mild detergent and let the cap air-dry on a rounded object so it keeps its shape. Avoid tumble-drying, which can shrink the cap and damage the peak.
Remove patches before washing, and close or cover any open hook-and-loop so it does not snag other items. Pick grass and fluff out of the loop panels so patches keep gripping firmly.
