The Big Foot battery box is a small protective case for carrying spare AAA batteries. AAA cells are used in many torches, red dot sights, laser units, radios, timers and other small electronic devices, so it is easy to end up with a pocket full of loose spares. A dedicated box keeps them together, clean and protected, so you know exactly where your spares are when a torch or sight goes flat at the worst moment.
Big Foot produces a wide range of affordable airsoft and tactical equipment, and this box is a simple, low-cost addition to a kit bag, pouch or range box. This version is black. Black is discreet and matches most tactical kit.
Why carry batteries in a box
Loose batteries rattle around in pockets and pouches, pick up dirt and moisture, and can short against keys, coins or other metal objects, which can drain them or cause them to heat up. Keeping them in a box protects the terminals and stops them touching each other or anything else metal.
A box also makes it easy to keep fresh and used cells apart: many players carry one box for charged or new batteries and put spent ones back in a different place so they never swap a flat cell back in by mistake.
