Description
Big Foot Direct Action Combat Assault Rig – D.A.C.A.R – Black
The Big Foot Direct Action Combat Assault Rig, or D.A.C.A.R, is a chest rig designed to carry your magazines and essential kit on the front of your body, where it is quick to reach. This version is finished in black. A chest rig is one of the most popular ways to carry kit in airsoft because it is light, quick to put on and keeps your reloads exactly where your hands expect them.
Big Foot produces a broad range of affordable tactical gear for airsoft players. The D.A.C.A.R suits newer players building their first loadout, as well as experienced players who want a lighter alternative to a full plate carrier for hot days, CQB games or fast-moving skirmishes. The black version suits urban, CQB and police-style loadouts.
Layout and carrying
Check the product images for the exact pouch layout, the number and type of magazine pouches, any admin or utility pouches and the attachment points on this rig. Most chest rigs carry rifle magazines across the front, with room for smaller items such as a pistol magazine, a radio, a torch or a tool, so you can keep everything you need in a game within easy reach.
Because the rig sits on the chest rather than the waist, it leaves your belt free for a holster or dump pouch and stays comfortable when you are kneeling, crouching or going prone.
Fit and adjustment
Chest rigs are held on with shoulder straps and a strap around the back, which can be adjusted to suit your build and whether you are wearing a thin shirt or a thick jacket. Set the rig high enough that your magazines are easy to reach without bending, but not so high that it gets in the way of shouldering your rifle. Try it on with your full kit before game day and make any adjustments then.

Compatibility
Check the product images to see which magazine types the pouches are designed for. Many airsoft chest rigs are designed around M4-type magazines, and other magazines may fit differently, so compare the pouch size with your own magazines before buying if you use AK, G36, SMG or other types.
Where the rig has external webbing, extra MOLLE-compatible pouches can be added to suit your role.
Care and maintenance
Empty the pouches after each game and let the rig dry fully before storing it, especially after wet or muddy days. Brush off dried mud and spot-clean with a damp cloth and mild soap rather than machine-washing.
Check stitching, buckles and fastenings from time to time, and keep hook-and-loop panels free of grass and grit so they keep gripping well.
