Design and wear
The V6 design covers the vulnerable areas of the face that are easily hurt by a close-range hit. On the field

Compatibility
Check how the mask fits with your goggles or glasses before game day; the top edge of a face mask can push goggles up or cause fogging if the two do not sit well together. Many players prefer anti-fog or fan-assisted goggles when wearing a face mask.
Some sites require full-face protection for younger players or in CQB areas, so check your site’s rules. If you wear a helmet, adjust the straps so the mask, goggles and helmet sit together comfortably.
Care and maintenance
Wipe the mask with a damp cloth and mild soap after each game to remove sweat and dirt, then let it dry fully at room temperature away from direct heat. Do not use solvents, which can damage plastics and paint finishes.
Store it where it will not be crushed or bent, and check straps, buckles and any mesh for damage before every game. Replace the mask if it cracks or the mesh is dented or torn.
