Description
Big Foot Lower Vented Full Face Mask (Clear Lens – Black)
The Big Foot Lower Vented Full Face Mask is a one-piece mask with a clear lens and a black finish. It covers the eyes and the rest of the face in a single unit, so you do not need to match separate goggles and a lower-face mask. Big Foot make a wide range of affordable protective gear for airsoft, and full-face masks are among the simplest ways to protect your eyes, teeth and face.
A clear lens is the most versatile choice: it works indoors, in woodland under heavy cover, on overcast days and into the evening. Black is the most versatile choice and works with almost any loadout.
Design and ventilation
The lower vented design has venting in the lower part of the mask, around the mouth and nose area, to let air in and out as you breathe. Good airflow helps with comfort and is one of the main ways a full-face mask fights fogging, as warm, damp breath can escape rather than collecting behind the lens.
Fogging is the most common problem with any enclosed eye protection, especially on cold, damp mornings or after hard running. Let the lens settle to the outside temperature before you put it on, avoid pushing it up onto a sweaty forehead between games, and keep a clean microfibre cloth in a dry pocket. An anti-fog treatment suitable for the lens can also help.
Fit
Adjust the straps so the mask sits snugly and does not move when you turn your head quickly or go prone, but without pressing hard on the nose. Make sure the lens area seals around the eyes with no gaps. If you wear a helmet or cap, try them on together before game day so they sit comfortably.
Key features
- One-piece full-face mask from Big Foot
- Clear lens for indoor and low-light play
- Venting in the lower part of the mask
- Protects eyes, teeth and face in one unit
- Black finish
- Adjustable straps
- No need to match separate goggles and lower mask
Compatibility
Designed to be worn on its own or under a cap or helmet. If you wear prescription glasses, try the mask on with them before playing, as space inside full-face masks is limited.
Care and maintenance
Clean the lens with lukewarm water and a soft microfibre cloth; never use paper towels, solvents or glass cleaner, which can scratch or weaken it. Check the lens before every game and replace it if it is cracked, deeply scratched or has taken a hard hit. Store it in a soft bag away from heavy kit so the lens is not scratched, and let it dry fully before packing away. Wipe the inside of the mask after a game and let it dry naturally before storing.
Who is it for?
This mask suits players who want full-face protection in one simple piece, including new players and those who play indoor CQB sites where shots to the face at short range are common, and who want a black mask to match their kit.
Please note: Always check your site’s eye protection rules before playing, and never remove your mask in a game area.
