Description

Big Foot Neoprene Half Face Mask (Black)

The Big Foot Neoprene Half Face Mask is a black lower-face mask made from neoprene. It covers the lower half of the face, giving your mouth, teeth and chin some cushioning against BB hits while leaving room above for goggles or glasses.

Half face masks are one of the most common combinations in airsoft: a lower mask paired with separate goggles gives you freedom to choose your eye protection and swap parts independently. Neoprene keeps this mask light, soft and quiet, and the black colour matches almost any loadout.

Why a half face mask

A BB to the mouth can chip a tooth or split a lip, so many players wear some form of lower face protection even when it is not required. A half mask leaves the eye area clear for your choice of goggles, which can mean less fogging and a wider field of view than some full face designs. It also sits low enough to wear with headsets, helmets and caps.

Neoprene is softer and more flexible than mesh or rigid plastic, which makes it comfortable for long days, though it offers less protection than a hard mask. Many players like it for woodland games, and for colder days when a little extra warmth is welcome.

Getting a good fit

The mask should sit snugly over your nose and under your goggles, without pushing them up or leaving a large gap. Try the combination before you play and check that you can still shoulder your replica comfortably.

Key features

  • Soft neoprene lower face mask
  • Covers mouth, teeth and chin
  • Leaves the eye area clear for your own goggles
  • Black colour to suit most loadouts
  • Low profile and quiet
  • Comfortable for long games and cold weather

Compatibility

Designed to be worn with separate airsoft-rated goggles or glasses. Check the product images for the shape of the mask and how it fastens, and try it with your eyewear and headwear before playing.

Care and maintenance

Neoprene is easy to look after. Hand wash it in cool water with a little mild soap after use, rinse well and let it air dry away from direct heat, which can make the material stiff or misshapen. Avoid tumble drying and ironing. Store it flat or loosely folded, and check the stitching and any straps or fastenings from time to time.

Who is it for?

This mask is for airsoft players who want light, comfortable lower face protection to pair with their own goggles, particularly for woodland and outdoor games. It is also a good spare for players who want a softer option for colder days.

Please note: This mask does not protect your eyes. Always wear airsoft-rated goggles or glasses with it.
