Big Foot Suction Cup Mount
The Big Foot Suction Cup Mount is a camera mount that uses a suction cup to fix to smooth surfaces, such as a car windscreen, a window or the bodywork of a vehicle. It is part of Big Foot’s range of accessories for action cameras, letting you film from a fixed position without holding the camera.

How it is used
Clean the surface and the suction cup, press the cup firmly onto the surface, using the locking lever if your mount has one, then attach the camera and set the angle. Suction mounts hold best on clean, smooth, non-porous surfaces such as glass, and less well on textured or curved panels.

Using it safely
If you fit the mount inside a car, place it where it does not block your view of the road, and never adjust the camera while driving. On the outside of a vehicle or boat, test the hold at low speed first and use a tether so the camera cannot be lost if the cup lets go.

Compatibility
Designed for action cameras. Check the camera interface shown in the product images and how your camera mounts before ordering; some cameras need their own frame or an adapter. Suction cups work best on clean, smooth, flat surfaces.
Care and maintenance
Wipe the mount clean after use and let it dry before storing. Check the moving parts and screws now and then for wear, and do not overtighten thumbscrews, as this can strip threads or crack mounting fingers. Always check that the camera is secure before you start filming, and use a tether in rough conditions.
Keep the suction cup clean and free of dust, and store it so the cup is not squashed or bent out of shape, as a distorted cup will not hold properly.
