Description

Big Foot Tactical Half Face Mask (Tan)

The Big Foot Tactical Half Face Mask covers the lower half of the face, finished in tan. Big Foot supply a wide range of affordable airsoft gear, from goggles and full masks to pouches and headsets, and their half face masks are a popular way to protect the mouth and teeth while keeping the eyes free for goggles or glasses.

A hit to the mouth or teeth from a BB at close range is painful and can chip a tooth, so lower face protection is strongly recommended, and many sites require it for younger players. Tan sits well alongside coyote, khaki and desert-toned kit.

Wearing it with eye protection

A half face mask is designed to be worn together with separate eye protection such as goggles or glasses. When trying it on, check that the top edge of the mask sits comfortably against the bottom of your goggles or glasses without pushing them up or leaving a gap, and that you can still breathe freely. Ventilation matters: a mask that traps warm breath can cause goggles to fog.

Fit and comfort

Check the product images to see how the mask is shaped and how it is secured. Adjust the straps so the mask sits snugly without pressing on the nose or ears, and make sure it stays in place when you run, go prone or turn your head quickly. If you wear a headset or helmet, try everything on together.

Key features

  • Lower face protection for mouth and teeth
  • Designed to be worn with goggles or glasses
  • Tan finish
  • From Big Foot
  • Available in several colours to match your kit
  • Affordable alternative to a full face mask

Compatibility

Worn with separate eye protection. Check that it works with your goggles or glasses and with any headset or helmet you use. Always check that your face and eye protection meet your site’s rules.

Care and maintenance

Rinse or wipe the mask clean after each game to remove sweat and dirt, using mild soap and water, and let it dry naturally away from direct heat. Check straps and fixings regularly, and replace the mask if it becomes damaged or deformed.

Who is it for?

This mask suits airsoft players who want to protect their mouth and teeth while choosing their own goggles or glasses, and players who want lower face protection that matches a tan loadout.

Please note: Eye protection is not included and must always be worn in game areas.
