Description

Big Foot tactical multidimensional split goggle (Tan)

The Big Foot tactical multidimensional split goggle is a tactical-style goggle from Big Foot, a brand that produces a wide range of affordable airsoft gear, from plate carriers and slings to helmets and pouches. This version is finished in tan. It sits in the shop’s eye protection range and is intended to be worn as part of your protective kit on the field.

Eye protection is the most important item any airsoft player owns, and having a dependable pair that you are comfortable wearing all day makes a real difference to how much you enjoy a game. A tan frame sits well with coyote, khaki and desert-toned kit, and suits players who run a sand-coloured loadout.

Wearing it on the field

Fit is everything with eye protection. Make sure the goggle sits securely and comfortably, without pressing hard on the bridge of the nose, and check there are no gaps around the edges of the frame where a BB could find its way in. If it uses a strap, adjust it so the goggle stays put when you run, crouch and go prone. If you wear a helmet, try the goggle on with it before game day so you know the strap and frame sit comfortably together.

Many players combine a goggle with a mesh or soft lower-face mask to protect the teeth and mouth. Try your face protection on with the goggle so the two sit together without pushing the goggle out of position.

Dealing with fogging

Fogging is the most common complaint with any eye protection, especially on cold, damp mornings or after hard running. Let the goggle settle to the outside temperature before you put it on, avoid pulling it up onto a sweaty forehead between games, and keep a clean microfibre cloth in a dry pocket. An anti-fog treatment suitable for the lens can also help.

Key features

  • Tactical-style goggle from Big Foot
  • Tan frame
  • Tactical styling to suit a modern loadout
  • Comfortable for a full day of play when fitted correctly
  • Can be worn with a helmet and lower-face protection
  • Part of the shop’s eye protection range

Compatibility

Designed to be worn on its own or with a helmet and lower-face protection. Fit varies from face to face and with different helmets and masks, so check it with the rest of your headgear. Before you play, always check that your eye protection meets the requirements of the site you are attending, as some sites have their own rules on goggles.

Care and maintenance

Clean the lens only with water and a soft microfibre cloth; avoid paper towels, glass cleaners and solvents, which can scratch or damage lens coatings. Let the goggle dry naturally at room temperature after a wet day rather than on a radiator. Store it in a soft bag or case so the lens does not get scratched in your kit bag, and inspect the lens and frame before every game. Replace any goggle that has been cracked, deeply scratched or heavily impacted.

Who is it for?

A good choice for players building or refreshing their protective kit who want a goggle that matches a loadout in tan, and for anyone wanting a spare pair for the kit bag.

Please note: Always wear suitable eye protection during play and check that it meets your site’s requirements before use.
