Description
CAA Airsoft Division Roni G1 Pistol Carbine Conversion (Black – 17 Series – CAD-SK-01-BK)
The CAA Airsoft Division Roni G1 is a pistol carbine conversion kit for 17-series (Glock-style) gas blowback pistols, finished in black. Slot your pistol into the chassis and it becomes a compact, shoulder-fired carbine with a stock, a front grip and rail space for accessories, while still running on the pistol, magazines and gas you already own.
CAA Airsoft Division is the airsoft arm of CAA, the company behind the well-known Roni conversion kits. The G1 is the Roni designed around 17-series pistols, and a European retailer describes it as a simple snap-on fit that needs no disassembly or significant modification of the pistol. That makes it a practical way to get carbine-style handling for CQB, or a second role for a pistol you already trust, without buying a whole new replica.
How it works
The pistol sits inside the Roni chassis, which surrounds it with a pistol grip and stock unit and a front section with rails. Your pistol’s own trigger, magazine and gas system do all of the work; the kit simply gives you more points of contact and somewhere to mount accessories. Because the pistol does not need to be stripped, you can take it back out and holster it as a sidearm whenever you like.
A shoulder stock and a second hand on the folding front grip make the pistol much easier to hold steady, which helps with accuracy at the longer end of pistol range and keeps rapid follow-up shots under control.
Rails, stock and handling
The same retailer lists a 24cm top rail for optics, three shorter rails for tactical accessories, a folding front grip, a telescopic stock with an adjustable cheek piece, QD sling attachment points and a holder for a spare magazine. Folding sights are listed as included, so you have a sighting option before you add a red dot.
A compact red dot on the top rail and a torch on one of the side rails are popular additions, and the spare magazine holder means a fresh magazine is always to hand. Because the kit is built around a pistol, the overall package stays short and easy to manoeuvre through doorways and around barricades.

Compatibility
The Roni G1 is listed for 17-series pistols, and a European retailer also lists the G1 as fitting 19 and 18C-pattern pistols. The same retailer states that only gas versions can be used: electric (AEP) and spring pistols are not compatible. Gas pistols from different makers vary slightly in size and shape, so please check with us that the kit suits your particular pistol before ordering.
The rails take standard 20mm optics, lights and lasers. The pistol itself, its magazines and gas are not part of the kit.
Care and maintenance
Wipe the chassis down after use and keep the locking mechanism and rails free of grit, so the pistol seats securely every time. Check that optics and accessories are tight before each game, and that the stock locks firmly in your chosen position.
Remove the pistol from the kit for cleaning and service it as normal: a little silicone oil on the magazine seals and moving parts, a clean inner barrel and good-quality seamless BBs. Store the kit somewhere dry, and avoid harsh solvents on polymer parts.
Who is it for?
The Roni G1 suits players who already own a 17-series gas pistol and want a compact carbine for CQB or a secondary role, and anyone who wants to get more from a pistol without buying a new replica. The black finish matches black pistols and suits almost any loadout.
Please note: The pistol, magazines, gas and BBs are not included. Always wear suitable eye protection, and full-face protection where your site requires it, when using or testing any airsoft replica.
