Description
Classic Army Nemesis DT-4 Double Barrel M4 AEG (Grey, CA118M-GREY)
The Classic Army Nemesis DT-4 is one of the most unusual M4s on the market: a double-barrel electric rifle that fires through two inner barrels at once, fed by two magazines inserted side by side. It looks like an M4 at first glance, but every shot sends out twice the BBs, which makes it a formidable weapon for suppressing fire and short-range exchanges. This version is finished in grey.
Classic Army has been making airsoft replicas since the 1990s and is known for innovative, well-built rifles. The DT-4 brings together that experience with a programmable electronic trigger, a MOSFET and metal construction, making it both a great talking point and a genuinely effective rifle on the field.
How the double barrel works
Inside the receiver, a single gearbox with a split cylinder drives air to two inner barrels. Each barrel has its own hop-up unit, which can be adjusted individually, so you can tune both barrels to fly together. Classic Army designed the system so that both barrels keep the same trajectory and velocity even if one magazine runs empty or is removed.
The rifle feeds from two magazines at the same time, released together by a single magazine release. That means reloads are as quick as on a normal M4, while you get double the BBs downrange with each shot. It is a natural fit for support roles, holding a doorway or putting pressure on a position.
Electronics and controls
The DT-4 uses Classic Army’s ECS programmable trigger system with a MOSFET. As well as protecting the trigger contacts and sharpening trigger response, it adds programmable burst fire, motor protection and low-battery detection, which helps protect your LiPo from over-discharge. A Deans-to-Tamiya battery adapter is supplied.
The single trigger and ambidextrous fire selector work just like any other M4, and there is a functional bolt catch and release. Flip-up front and rear sights are fitted, and an ambidextrous rear sling mount suits left- and right-handed shooters.
Build
Construction is metal, giving the DT-4 a solid, rigid feel. The M-Lok handguard lets you add rail sections where you need them for a torch, laser or grip, and the top rail takes optics. The grey finish sets this version apart from the usual black rifles and gives it a distinctive, modern look.

Compatibility
The DT-4 uses its own paired magazine setup, so please make sure any spare magazines are listed for the Classic Army DT-4 before ordering. The M-Lok handguard accepts standard M-Lok rail sections and accessories, and the top rail takes standard 20mm optic mounts. A LiPo battery is a good match for the ECS system; the supplied adapter lets you use Tamiya-connector batteries.
Care and maintenance
Take the battery out of the gun whenever you are not using it, and store LiPo batteries at storage charge in a fire-resistant bag. Never leave a battery charging unattended, and use a charger suited to the battery type.
Use good quality, seamless 6mm BBs; cheap or damaged BBs are the most common cause of jams and can damage the hop-up rubber. Run a cleaning rod with a dry patch through the inner barrel every few games, and if a BB jams, clear it with the rod from the muzzle end with the battery removed. After each game wipe the outside down to remove dirt and moisture, and let the gun dry at room temperature if it has been out in the rain. For long-term storage, wind the hop-up off and leave the gun on safe so the spring is not left compressed.
Who is it for?
The DT-4 is for players who want something genuinely different, support gunners who want more BBs downrange without carrying a heavy LMG, and Classic Army fans looking for a talking-point rifle with modern electronics.
Please note: Battery and charger are not included. BBs are sold separately. Always wear suitable eye and face protection and check the rules at your site, including any limits on rate of fire, before play.
