Description
Classic Army Nemesis X9 SMG (Metal – CA119M) (Blue)
The Classic Army Nemesis X9 is a compact AR-pattern SMG that takes 9mm-style magazines, and this version is finished in blue. It packs a programmable electronic trigger and a reinforced gearbox into a short, fast-handling body, which makes it a natural choice for CQB and urban sites. Note that the product name spells it ‘Nemsis’; the model is Classic Army’s Nemesis X9.
Classic Army has built airsoft replicas since the 1990s, and the Nemesis range is its modern, performance-focused line. The blue finish gives the X9 a bold, distinctive look, while the metal construction and smart electronics make it a capable primary for players who spend most of their time indoors or in tight woodland.
Build and handling
The X9 is built around reinforced aluminium alloy upper and lower receivers, so it feels solid without being heavy. An M-LOK handguard gives you mounting points for a torch, laser or grip, and the retractable skeletonised stock lets you set the length of pull to suit your build and kit.
Flip-up front and rear sights are fitted, so you can start playing straight away and fold them down later for a red dot. The selector and stock release are ambidextrous, and an extended battery compartment gives more battery choice than many compact AEGs.
Electronics and internals
Inside is a reinforced Version 2 gearbox with 9mm bearings and a long-type motor, managed by Classic Army’s ECS programmable trigger unit. The ECS includes a built-in MOSFET, motor protection and low-battery detection, and can be programmed for a three- or five-round burst, which is handy for controlling ammunition use in CQB.
The hop-up is adjusted through the ambidextrous charging handle rather than behind a dust cover, so you can fine-tune it quickly. The short inner barrel is listed at around 140mm with a 6.03mm bore, and the outer barrel carries a 14mm counter-clockwise thread for a tracer or mock suppressor.
First steps
Charge a suitable battery fully, fit it and check the gun fires on safe, semi and auto as expected. Read the ECS section of the manual before programming the burst setting. Set the hop-up from zero, adding a little at a time until BBs fly flat, and have the SMG chronographed at your site.

Compatibility
The X9 uses 9mm-style AR magazines rather than standard M4 magazines, so choose spares listed for the Nemesis X9 or compatible 9mm AR-pattern AEGs. It is listed for a 7.4V LiPo with a Tamiya connector; check the battery size against the compartment before ordering. The M-LOK handguard takes M-LOK rail sections and accessories, the top rail takes standard 20mm optics, and Version 2 gearbox parts are widely available.
Care and maintenance
Remove the battery whenever the SMG is not in use and never charge a LiPo unattended. Clean the inner barrel regularly with a rod and clean patch, and use good quality seamless BBs.
Wipe the gun down after wet or muddy games and let it dry before casing it, check rails and the stock are tight, and leave gearbox work to an experienced technician.
Who is it for?
For CQB and urban players who want a short, well-built SMG with a programmable trigger, and for anyone who likes a modern 9mm-style AR in a colour that stands out.
Please note: The blue colour is as named; please check the product images for the exact finish. A battery and charger are not listed as included, so please ask us if you need them. Always wear suitable eye and face protection, and have the replica chronographed at your site before play.
